June is Jubilee....A Bike Tour and A Barn Dance!

Harvest By Bike, a part of the Ecology Center’s Eco Ride, is taking place on June 24 starting at 9Am! Green Things Farm and the Tilian CSA are participating in a partnership with the Brinery. Those who choose the 10 mike route will come to Tilian and team members will transport the harvest vegetables to the finish. They will later be made into a special batch of pedal-powered Kim Chi!

The Harvest By Bike component of the Eco Ride will also include a Rap for Food team, which you can join. Sign up to help support our local food system by going to www.ecocenter.org/EcoRide and click on “Registration” and follow the “Start Fundraising cues. Once you create your “FirstGiving Account” click on “Join a Team” and select Rap for Food.

Tilian’s second BARN DANCE is on Saturday night, June 30 at 6PM. And YOU are INVITED!

Join us at the home of Barry Lonik, land preservationist and local farm advocate to dance to the music of the Appleseed Collective, a powerhouse of bluegrass, swing,
and staying true to our roots & local food emcee, HomeGrown (Lucas DiGia) of Rap For Food!; enjoy light food from the farms at Tilian, prepared by local chefs, including Alex Young of Zingerman’s Roadhouse!
